  • Remediation Reminder: The deadline to complete work for courses with Deferred Standing is December 21, 2018. The last date to drop Fall/Winter 2017-2018 full-year or Winter 2018 term courses without academic penalty is January 10, 2019, and the last date to apply for Tuition Credit Opportunity from dropped Fall/Winter 2017-2018 and Winter 2018 courses is January 16, 2019.

  • YU Got This: Health Education & Learning Skills Services will be in Scott Library on Wednesday, November 28 from 10 am to 2 pm to help you prep for upcoming finals! Visit us in the Atrium on the second floor for exam helps & tips, wellness & self-care strategies, healthy snacks, games and therapy dogs!

York Pride

  • Join the 2018 Student Experience Design Team! Work with staff and your student peers to improve the student experience at York. Deadline for applications has been extended to December 10!

  • The York Federation of Students' 2018 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in Thursday Nov. 29, 5pm in Accolade West Room 206. We encourage students to engage with their student governments. Attending the AGM is a great way to hear from your YFS Executives directly and be involved in decision making.

Out & About On Campus

  • The York University Symphony Orchestra will be performing on Thursday, November 29, 7:30 to 9pm at the Tribute Communities Recital Hall, 112 Accolade East Building. Tickets are $10 for students!

  • The York University Gospel Choir present a rafter-raising concert at the Sandra Faire and Ivan Fecan Theatre Friday, November 30 and Saturday December 1 from 7:30pm to 9pm. Tickets are also $10 for students

  • Art Exhibition: Embodied Thought is a duo-exhibition featuring works from fourth-year Visual Art Studio students Esther Kim and Rebecca Garcia in the Samuel J. Zacks Gallery in Stong College. The exhibition is open from 11:30am to 5pm until Friday, November 30.

  • Course Withdrawal Period for Term F courses began on Nov. 10 and will run until the last day of fall classes (Tuesday, December 4).

  • The deadline for the President’s Ambassador Program application for first-year students is Monday, December 3, 2018. Students selected for the program will attend several institutional and community events, including alumni receptions and government announcements.

  • York University Student Transit Survey: We encourage you to complete this survey by the York Federation of Students (YFS) in an effort to gather more data around student transit use and explore the possibility of a Universal Transit Pass.
