Important Dates

  • The SU Course Withdrawal Period runs from Saturday, June 29 to Monday, July 2​9.

  • The last day to drop a course in the SU term without receiving a grade is Monday, July 15.

  • The S2 Course Withdrawal Period runs from Tuesday, July 16 to Monday, July 29.

  • The study day for the SU and S2 terms is Tuesday, July 30.

  • The deadline to apply to graduate in October 2019 is Wednesday, July 31.

  • Fall/Winter 2019-2020 course and program fees, which will be impacted by the provincial government’s Student Choice Initiative, will be made available on the Student Financial Services’ Fees webpage by the middle of July.

  • Workshop: Get On Track. If you’re starting to get worried about upcoming deadlines, this workshop is perfect for you. Learning Skills Services is running a workshop to help you get your academic goals back on track with hands-on planning. Friday, July 12, 11 a.m. to noon

  • Volunteer at York Orientation Day 2019! Are you looking to upgrade your resumé or develop your leadership skills? You’re in luck! Stong College and Calumet College are accepting volunteer applications to help welcome incoming students to the York U community on September 3, 2019. Application deadline is Monday, July 8, 11:50 p.m.

  • Student Counselling & Development (SCD) wants your help with a Mural Painting! SCD is looking to enhance their reception area with a mural that reflects their values of mental wellbeing, diversity and inclusion. The student(s) responsible for the selected submission will be given the materials necessary to create their mural. Upon completion of the mural, a $250 stipend will be paid to the student(s). Submission period closes Wednesday, July 31 at 5 p.m.

  • Off-Campus Housing: Visit our new virtual Off-Campus Housing service to search for off-campus housing listings, find roommates and access resources and tips to help make your experience living off-campus a success.

  • Changes to Parking: Effective Monday, July 15, the University will be changing its campus parking enforcement process to improve efficiency, effectiveness and fairness to everyone using York U’s parking operations. Before the new process takes effect, the University is offering individuals with outstanding tickets an opportunity to settle their accounts by way of a ticket relief program, available until September 2019.
