Academics

  • Fall/Winter 2020-2021 course enrolment. Courses this fall will be, for the most part, delivered online/remotely, and course enrolment for continuing students opens Tuesday, June 30. Use the Enrolment & Registration Guide to check when your enrolment window opens and start planning your course schedule now.

  • REMINDER: Check for available self-serve tools and resources on My Online Services. Get what you need, from wherever you are, at almost any time of the day. The list of available resources is growing daily as new online and mobile methods are introduced to deliver services and resources you need.

  • Online/Remote Learning Protocol for York University Students. York University has developed best practices and protocols to support you in your online/remote learning success. Similar protocols have also been provided to York University staff and instructors.

Money Matters

  • 2020-2021 OSAP applications are now open. If you are enrolling as a full-time student in Fall/Winter 2020/2021, York recommends that you apply and submit all required documentation through your OSAP application by Tuesday, June 30 in order to have your funds at the beginning of the fall term.

Health & Wellness

  • REDI Workshop: Requesting and Accessing Accommodations. Attend this workshop and receive a detailed overview of the rights and responsibilities in the accommodations process based on the Ontario Human Rights Code, such as those involving disability (including mental health), creed (religion) and sex/gender. Learn how to request and respond to accommodation needs and hear strategies that will assist in increasing inclusion and accessibility in the York community.   • Panel Discussion: Will this be the ONE? Reflection, engagement and action against anti-Black racism in Ontario. Members of the Youth Research and Evaluation Exchange (YouthREX), based at the School of Social Work at York University, will discuss the current groundswell of protests and lead a conversation that will be framed by the findings of their report, “Doing Right Together for Black Youth,” which found that the number-one issue for Black youth and their families in Ontario is widespread anti-Black racism that runs through all of Ontario’s institutions and systems, including the educational, child welfare and criminal justice systems, as well as the labour market. Thursday, June 11, 11:30 a.m.

  • Summer Online Activities Calendar. Check out this calendar and take part in some online activities during these days of isolation. Connect with others and participate in activities for your academic, career, entertainment and fitness needs.

  • ACMAPS Event Schedule. Are you a mature student at York U? Are you interested in meditation or attending a casual, drop-in based café hour to meet other mature students or a mature student peer mentor?
