  • Vaccine Clinics at York. This month, York will host more pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinics on Keele Campus, in partnership with Toronto Public Health. For those who are eligible and studying or working on the Glendon Campus, Sunnybrook Hospital continues to welcome all to their walk-in vaccine clinic near Glendon Campus. Upcoming clinics: Thursday, Oct. 14 and Friday, Oct. 15, noon to 6 p.m.

  • Experience Grad York. Are you thinking of pursuing your graduate education? The Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) at York invites you to this free virtual event, where you can attend information sessions about York's graduate programs, admissions and more.   • GET WRIT Weekly Livestream Event. Tune in to this livestream event with Writing Centre Professor Rich Shivener, “GET WRIT,” the Writing Centre’s new weekly Livestream on YouTube. Each week, join Dr. Shivener on YouTube at YU WRIT Live for livestreams about writing projects, resources, prompts, and conversations with writers in the Writing Department and beyond! Mature Student Support

  • Learning to Learn Remotely for Mature Students with Families. Join this session to learn effective strategies for studying and completing coursework remotely. Engage in discussion and learn tips around how to balance school and family responsibilities. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1 to 2 p.m. Registration required.

Connect with Community

  • REDI Workshop: Challenging Unconscious Bias and Microaggressions. In this workshop, you'll examine forms of unconscious bias and stereotyping that lead to microaggressions and discriminatory behaviour. Participants will explore effective strategies to challenge biases and strengthen the experience of inclusion for all. Tuesday, Oct. 19. 1:30 to 3 p.m. Registration required.

  • Women in Science Wiki Edit-a-thonAda Lovelace Day is an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). To join the global celebration, York is again hosting this Edit-a-thon online where participants will create and improve both Wikipedia articles and Wikidata items about women in STEM fields. Drop-Ins are welcome and no experience necessary!  Thursday, Oct. 14, noon to 3 p.m.

Crisis Support and Counselling

  • Art Therapy Group. Join these group sessions hosted by the Centre for Sexual Violence Response, Support & Education (The Centre) and facilitated by Full Circle Art Therapy Centre, and explore the therapeutic benefits of art making, such as: self-expression, stress relief, relaxation and more!
