  • Announcement for international students: York has committed $10 million in funding for international students who are experiencing financial hardship due to the pandemic.

    All international, undergraduate students who: a) demonstrate financial need, b) are actively enrolled in the Fall/Winter 2021 to 2022 academic session and c) are paying international tuition rates, are eligible for bursary consideration.   • Call for nominations for Chancellor. A committee has been struck to nominate a successor to York’s Chancellor, The Honorable Gregory Sorbara, and is inviting students to submit suggestions of individuals for this important and prestigious position.

    The Chancellor of York University should be a highly esteemed individual who is regarded as a visionary leader able to command the respect of the University community. They should appreciate and embody the core values of the University as set out in York's Mission Statement.
