Connect with Community

  • National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women. Join the York community to honour those we have lost and reflect on renewing a commitment to end gender-based violence. Attend the virtual memorial ceremony and participate in community events and conversations as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. Thursday, Nov. 25 to Friday, Dec. 10.

  • Workshop Series: Unlearning HateAttend this education series brought to you by Student Community & Leadership Development, the Division of Students, The Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Inclusion, and the Division of People, Equity & Culture. Sign up for two sessions:

  • SCLD Game NightsDrop into the third game night of the fall term! Unwind, take a break from studying and meet new people. This game night will be led by students on the Student Engagement Team as they play “Mafia.” Friday, Nov. 26, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Registration required.

  • Art Therapy Group. Join these group sessions hosted by the Centre for Sexual Violence Response, Support & Education and explore the therapeutic benefits of art making, such as self-expression, stress relief, relaxation and more! ICYMI

  • Upload proof of vaccination: Are you seeking access to campus this January 2022? If so, provide your proof of vaccination on YU Screen by Dec. 1.

    This applies to you if you plan on accessing campus to take in-person classes, study, work, attend events, utilize student services, live on campus and more. Students registered for in-person courses for the Winter 2022 term who do not provide proof on vaccination on YU Screen by this deadline will be de-enrolled prior to the start of the term.
