Announcement for International students: York has committed $10 million in funding for international students who are experiencing financial hardship due to the pandemic.
All international undergraduate students who: a) demonstrate financial need, b) are actively enrolled in the Fall/Winter 2021- 2022 academic session and c) are paying international tuition rates, are eligible for bursary consideration. Call for nominations for Chancellor. A committee has been struck to nominate a successor to York’s Chancellor, The Honorable Gregory Sorbara, and is inviting students to suggest individuals for this important and prestigious position.
The Chancellor of York University should be a highly esteemed individual who is regarded as a visionary leader able to command the respect of the University community. They should appreciate and embody the core values of the University as set out in York's Mission Statement.
Suggestions, with biographical information, if possible, should be forwarded by Friday, Dec. 10 to pascalr@yorku.ca.
