Connect with Community

  • York’s first Action Plan on Black Inclusion: A Living Document for Action. Following multiple consultations with students, staff and faculty, York announced the launch of its first Action Plan on Black Inclusion: A Living Document for Action. The Plan outlines a series of strong and accountable commitments informed by the input received, marking an important step in combating anti-Black racism, and providing equitable access to learning, teaching, research and professional environments.

  • International Indigenous Student Knowledge Fair. This two-day virtual showcase will spotlight students’ culminating projects for the International Indigenous Student Exchange Program. Sessions will cover topics such as Indigenous knowledge systems, language, cultures and the land. Thursday, Dec. 16 and 17, 7 to 10 p.m. Registration required.

Academics

  • Newly Admitted: The Transfer Process with the Faculty of LA&PS. Are you a new transfer student in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS) for Winter 2022? Learn about transfer credit assessment, how credits are allocated at York depending on your program, how much time you will be spending at York to complete your degree and more. Wednesday, Dec. 15, 10 to 11 a.m. Registration required.

Mature Student Support

  • ACMAPS Peer Mentor drop-in session. Stop by this session and chat with a mature student peer mentor, whether it’s to seek help preparing for exams or to review coursework. Thursday, Dec. 16, 1 to 2 p.m. Registration not required.

Campus Facilities
