  • Spring 2021 Virtual Career Fair. Meet employers who are looking to hire York students for a variety of opportunities, including part-time, summer, internship and full-time positions after graduation. International Connections

  • York International Webinar: Health Insurance Basics. Log into this session and get info about UHIP coverage, where to find a doctor and how to pay for medical expenses with UHIP. You'll also learn information about basic health insurance and extended health coverage, and student resources for health and well-being at York. Wednesday, May 19, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Registration required.

Health & Wellness

  • The Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Inclusion (REI) will be offering REDI series workshops and Anti-Racism REDI series workshops all summer long. All sessions will be offered virtually, are free and open to all York students. Attend at least three of the REDI workshops (90 minutes each) and complete the REDI Online Tutorial to receive a REDI Certificate of Completion!   • Creating and Maintaining Positive SpaceJoin this session where you’ll explore gender and sexual diversity, as well as homophobia and transphobia specific to the campus experience. Learn about using inclusive language, being a supportive ally, campus resources, and creating safer spaces on campus for gender and sexually diverse students, staff and faculty. Wednesday, May 19, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Registration required.

  • Mature Students Webinar: Learn How Career Education & Development Can Help Mature Students. Join this webinar to learn about York’s Career Decision Making Model and how it can help you move forward in your career as a mature student.   • Mature Students Webinar: Guide to Navigating York's Website. Log into this session and learn about enrolment and how to find your schedule builder, your timetable and important dates.   • Learning Skills Workshop: Reading & Notetaking. Many students find keeping up with the readings and lecture notes at university to be a real challenge.   • Workshop: Time Management. Join this session to learn practical, personalized approaches to managing your time. Get tips to manage and balance school, work and life. Thursday, May 20, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Registration required.

  • Library Workshop: Road to Research Success: How to Find Scholarly Articles and Books Through York Libraries. Do you need help navigating your way to academic sources? Join this virtual workshop where they'll provide you with a basic roadmap to library resources – and put you in the driver's seat. Tuesday, June 1, 1 to 2:15 p.m. Registration required.
