Announcement

  • Health & Wellness Student Needs Assessment Survey. Your opinion matters! Complete this survey from Student Counselling, Health & Well-being to influence how health and well-being services are delivered to York students. Students who complete the survey will be entered to win one of forty $50 gift cards! Survey Deadline: Thursday, August 5.

  • Pop-up Vaccine Clinic at Keele Campus. York is hosting another pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Keele Campus, in partnership with Humber River Hospital. Vaccines play an important role in protecting ourselves and those around us and all members of the community who are eligible, are welcome. York will be giving a York water bottle to the first 200 people who come down to receive their first dose shots.

    Tuesday, July 6 and Thursday, July 8, noon to 6 p.m. or until supply runs out (N.B. NOT July 7). Learn more about the pop-up vaccine clinic.

Health & Wellness

  • Gain access to a suite of self-help resources and appointment-based counselling support by downloading the keep.meSAFE Student Support Program (SSP). York University has partnered with this program to help support our students, including those who are out-of-province or joining us internationally. Learn more about keep.meSAFE.

  • Nellie Library Food and Mood and Mental Health Workshop. Attend this online session and learn tips on how to boost your mood by adding more nutritious food. You'll also learn a number of recipes and hear about all the mental health resources that are available to York students. Bonus: One lucky participant will win a YU Bookstore gift card! Wednesday, July 7, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Registration required.

  • The Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Inclusion (REI) will be offering REDI series workshops and Anti-Racism REDI series workshops all summer long. All sessions will be offered virtually and are free and open to all York students. Attend at least three of the REDI workshops (90 minutes each) and complete the REDI Online Tutorial to receive a REDI Certificate of Completion!   • Racial Inclusion and Employment Equity. This workshop focuses on racism and discrimination in the workplace, highlighting the relevant policies and laws in place to support efforts that build healthy and inclusive workplace environments and culture. Thursday, July 8, 12:30 to 2 p.m. Registration required.
