  • Scotiabank Masterclass: Getting your Dream Job. Do you want to be a master at networking and interviews? Join this Masterclass where you will learn from subject matter experts on how to network effectively in person, how to brand yourself and how to crush your next interview. Wednesday, Sept. 22. 2 to 4 p.m. Registration required through Experience York.

  • Applications for YSpace Venture Catalyst Program are now open! This program supports early stage technology-based ventures to refine their innovative concepts and validate the business opportunity. Founders will engage in a free 6-week training and mentorship program designed to validate your start-up ideas and bring a proof-of-concept to life. Apply by using the Venture Catalyst Application Form. Deadline: Friday, Oct. 1.

Welcome Back

  • Visit the Start Strong YU Campus Access page for everything you need to know about visiting our campuses this Fall. There are a series of short videos and four sections that will help answer your questions before you make your way to campus this term.

  • Get your YU-card on the YU-card Office website! New students are required to apply online using the YU-card photo upload tool. The Office is also offering mail delivery to new students who have never been issued a card before. Current students can also replace or renew their card and manage their account online.

Connect with Community

  • Learn how you can spread kindness on our campuses this Fall! Visit the Kindness Campaign website to learn how we can all support each other through simple acts of kindness, access the Kindness Toolkit and find additional support for you or someone you know.

ICYMI

  • The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) is recruiting student representatives for the Student Advisory Committee (SAC). The SAC will bring together students with diverse backgrounds and experiences to share their thoughts on OUR projects, policies and initiatives. Build leadership skills, community connections and be a positive force for strengthening your student services. Application Deadline: Tuesday, Sept. 28.
