Update Regarding Campus Attendance and Operations. All courses will be delivered in remote format until Monday, Jan. 31. There are some exceptions and students in those courses will have already been notified by their course instructor.

Third Dose Vaccination Clinics. York University is pleased to host a dedicated vaccination clinic for York community members who are 18 years of age and older and meet the eligibility requirements to receive a third dose (booster) of the COVID-19 vaccine. Jan. 10 to 28. Appointments are required.

YI Virtual Welcome Activities. Calling all international students! Meet Global Peer Program mentors, upper-year students and volunteers from each of York's various faculties. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 10 to 11 a.m. and Friday, Jan. 14, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Registration required.

Starting Off Strong - for New First Year Students. If you have just joined York, welcome! Learn how to get started at university and key skills, as well as discover tools that’ll help you succeed. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Registration required.

Time Management. Attend this workshop to learn practical, personalized approaches to managing your time that work for you. Thursday, Jan. 13, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Registration required.

Zoom/eClass Student Tutorial. Learn the ins and outs of Zoom and eClass to prepare for any virtual classes you may have this year. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Registration required

Virtual Café Hour – Transfer Student Connect. Join the Atkinson Centre for Mature and Part-time Students (ACMAPS) and experience a warm and inviting virtual atmosphere where you can meet a student peer mentor and connect with other transfer students on campus. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 1 to 2 p.m. No registration required.

ACMAPS Peer Mentor Meet and Greet (virtual drop-in): If you are a mature student and looking to network with like-minded people, join this session and connect with the ACMAPS Peer Mentors who can help you settle in and navigate university life successfully. Thursday, Jan. 13, 3 to 4 p.m. No registration required.

Black Excellence at York University (BE YU) Leadership Workshop: Leadership Coaching. Learn how to better motivate your team or group, deliver specific personal and professional goals and sharpen your own leadership skills. Thursday, Jan. 13, 3 to 4 p.m. Registration required.

Call for Papers! The York University Professional Writing Students’ Association (PWSA) is inviting you to submit a 250-word abstract for their Fourth Annual Symposium in April 2022. Complete the Google form with your 250-word abstract. Submission Deadline: Monday, Jan. 17. Questions can be forwarded to pwsapublish@gmail.com.

Library Workshop: Road to Research Success: How to Find Scholarly Articles and Books Through York Libraries. Need help navigating your way to academic sources? This workshop will provide you with a basic roadmap to library resources. Tuesday, Jan. 18, noon to 1:30 p.m. Registration required.

Graduate Recruitment Office Hours. During the month of January, hop on a Zoom call with a Graduate Officer to discuss questions you may have about York graduate program admissions, programs and graduate level study at York.
