  • Get advice on coming to campus from YU Screen. It’s cold and flu season. If you are feeling under the weather, use York’s self-assessment tool for next steps. The Student Case and Contact Management team will reach out and follow up with you about your situation. If you are unsure about whether you should come to campus, continue to screen daily.

  • VPS Meet & Greet. Join Vice Provost, Students Nona Robinson on a wellness break by taking a walk around campus, or to simply get to know the people you meet. Various dates available, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1 to 2 p.m. Registration required.

  • Well-being Strategy Engagement Sessions. Join other community members to share input, feedback and recommendations on priorities for the development of York’s Well-being Strategy to enhance well-being on our campuses. Attend virtually and in-person on the Keele and Glendon campuses this fall. Various dates available, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 8. Registration required.

  • Security Services Review. The Security Services Review team invites you to help inform the development of an alternate security services model for the University. Students are invited to attend an online town hall where participants will have the opportunity to provide input and hear from other members of the community.   • 2022 Sustainable on the Go Conference. Discuss the new norms of higher education that are both sustainable and inclusive to students through three themes: Connecting local and global classrooms, global learning and community engagement.   • Ada Lovelace Day Women in Science Wikipedia and Wikidata Edit-a-Thon. Ada Lovelace Day is an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Join to help create, expand and improve Wikipedia entries and Wikidata items about unrepresented women in STEM. No experience necessary. Thursday, Nov. 3, noon to 3 p.m. Registration required.
