Announcement

  • York to Keep Mandatory Masking. To further support the health and safety of those on campus, York’s mask protocol will be extended until further notice. Masks will continue to be required in all indoor spaces at York including, but not limited to, classrooms, administrative buildings, offices, meeting rooms, York Lanes, and common areas in all residences, washrooms, hallways, and elevators. Masks will continue to be made available for a nominal fee at the Bookstore and vending machines on campuses.

  • Rapid testing program. York is offering an at-home rapid antigen testing program for all community members. Tests can be picked up at various locations at scheduled times on the Keele (YU Test Clinic, York International, Bennett Centre for Student Services) and Glendon (Office of Student Affairs) campuses. Please note that due to limited supplies of rapid antigen tests, there are limited supplies being distributed each day, and there is a limit of one package per community member for the Winter term.   • UIT NOTICES

    Student Account Lifecycle. If you will no longer be enrolled in courses at York, your email, OneDrive, MyApps etc. will enter an expiry process. Ensure that you have downloaded and backed up your files onto your own personal devices. For more information visit the UIT website.

    • Workshop: Mindfulness to Celebrate the End of Exam Season. How is the quality of your self-care during exam season? Join this session for both a sitting meditation and dance/movement therapy session about letting go, self-acceptance, and creating new possibilities.     • Media Arts Spring Showcase Launch. The annual Media Arts Spring Showcase features student works from every year of the Media Arts BFA program, from interactive narratives, 360VR dome projections, animations, and short films. Fourth year graduating students will talk about their work at 5 p.m., followed by an exhibition tour and premiere screening. Join the opening ceremony on Thursday, April 21, 3 to 8 p.m. at BetaSpace – Goldfarb Centre for the Arts (GCFA) 024-026 (basement). Registration required. The exhibition will remain open throughout the week until Friday, April 29, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Third annual Women and Girls Leadership in Sport Conference. York University Athletics & Recreation announces the third annual Women and Girls Leadership and Sport Conference presented by Adidas. This year’s theme is Leadership Communication: Language, Crucial Conversations and Using Your Voice with speakers from the sports world.     • Navigating YU: Summer 2022. Join ACMAPS to learn more about Keele Campus’ buildings, resources, services, and answer many of your burning questions! By attending this virtual workshop, participants will learn building abbreviations, explore key websites like eClass and grow more comfortable in navigating York University, whether in-person or online.
