    • Undergraduate Research Fair & Art Walk. Cheer on your peers at the 10th anniversary of the Undergraduate Research Fair & Art Walk, which inspires experiential learning, showcases student research from across all disciplines at York, and helps build important transferrable skills for future careers. This year’s theme is Inspired Minds: Celebrating a Decade of Student Achievements. Wednesday, May 18, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Scott Library Collaboratory.
    • EDI Strategy Feedback Sessions and Survey. The President’s Advisory Council on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion has prepared a Draft Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy for feedback from the York Community. Feedback can be provided via the website or during a feedback session on Thursday, May 12, 4 to 5 p.m.

  • UIT NOTICES

    • Student Account Lifecycle. If you will no longer be enrolled in courses at York, your email, OneDrive, MyApps etc. will enter an expiry process. Ensure that you have downloaded and backed up your files onto your own personal devices. For more information visit the UIT website.
    • Google Apps Storage Quota. In August 2022, York University will be implementing a combined Google Drive and Gmail storage limit of 50GB for each student Google account. This storage limit comes as an update to Google’s storage policy for educational institutions. Most students will be unaffected by the change. Visit UIT’s website for more information and how you can check your current storage usage.
    • Use Modern Authentication for Microsoft 365. Having trouble accessing emails on your desktop Outlook or Thunderbird? You might be using an outdated user authentication method. Since March 2022, York has switched to Modern Authentication for all Microsoft 365 applications. Visit the YU Office webpage for a detailed guide on accessing Mail in Microsoft Office 365, downloading the Outlook Desktop client, as well as configuration setting for IMAP clients.
