This Week @ York for Week of May 31, 2022

FYI

  • Pride Month. York celebrates and shows support to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community by learning about the history, culture, and contributions that they have made to Canadian society. The York community must continue to stand against homophobia and all forms of discrimination and racism to ensure that everyone feels a sense of belonging. Find out more about the events and celebrations happening across the campus by visiting the Pride Month website.

FYI

    • Use Modern Authentication for Microsoft 365. Having trouble accessing emails on your desktop Outlook or Thunderbird? You might be using an outdated user authentication method. Since March 2022, York has switched to Modern Authentication for all Microsoft 365 applications. Visit the YU Office webpage for a detailed guide on accessing Mail in Microsoft Office 365, downloading the Outlook Desktop client, as well as configuration setting for IMAP clients.
    • Rapid testing program. York is offering at-home rapid antigen testing kits for all community members. Tests can be picked up at various locations at scheduled times on the Keele (YU Test Clinic, York International, Bennett Centre for Student Services and the Vari Hall Rotunda) and Glendon (Office of Student Affairs) campuses. Please note that due to limited supplies of rapid antigen tests, there is a limit of one package per community member. For pick-up details, visit the Rapid Antigen Testing Program webpage.
