  • Coffee Break: Cultural Week-Europe. Learn about the various cultures in European countries, share your culture and experiences, learn a phrase in each language and more! Wednesday, July 27, 2 to 4 p.m. Registration required.
  • Coffee Break: Games Cafe. Take a break from your studies, play board games and other fun activities, make some new friends and build a bigger community. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 1 to 3 p.m. Registration required.

Athletics & Recreation

  • Inaugural North Star Community Emancipation Day. Reflect and celebrate the inaugural North Star Community Emancipation Day with York’s Athletics & Recreation and local Jane and Finch community leaders. Watch performances, keynote speakers and a charity basketball game. Also, receive a free ice cream (while supplies last). Sunday, July 31, 2 to 5 p.m., 1 Thompson Road, Tait Mackenzie Centre.
