  • National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. Attend a memorial ceremony honouring the 14 victims who tragically lost their lives at Polytechnique Montréal in 1989. In solidarity with victims and survivors, guests are invited to wear a white ribbon which will be available at 301 York Lanes in the Centre for Sexual Violence Response, Support & Education. Further your journey with DEDI by exploring interactive videos, scenarios and activities in this new resource available through YU Learn. This toolkit focuses on your lived experiences and strengths, your biases, how you can use your skills to contribute to DEDI work and more.

  • Cash Prizes in University-Wide Creative Writing Competition. Submit your original and unpublished writing for a chance to win a prize starting at $1,000, and the opportunity to be recognized by The Creative Writing Department, Faculty of LA&PS and The Office of the President. Submit your work by Friday, January 5. Results will be announced in spring 2024.
