The rankings recognize York’s interdisciplinary research and innovation strengths in sustainability, inclusivity and equity that resulted in placing in the top three per cent of universities worldwide.

Pride Month

  • York University Pride 2023 Opening Ceremony. Join York’s opening ceremony for Pride Month and learn about York’s 2SLGBTQIA+ resources.   • Celebrate Diversity, Embrace Unity: Pride 2023 at Glendon. Join a roundtable conversation focusing on the diversity of identities, backgrounds and perspectives within the community and needs and priorities to create a more inclusive space at the university. Event will be followed by a social mixer with snacks and refreshments. All 2SLGBTQIA+ community members are welcomed. Glendon Campus. Virtual and in-person. Indigenous History Month

  • Bonnie Devine Public Lecture Honours National Indigenous History Month. Through her work Writing Home, York University alumna Bonnie Devine encourages viewers to think about their own relationship with the land and the importance of acknowledging Indigenous histories and perspectives. All York community members are invited to attend this in-person event as part of National Indigenous History Month.
