Important Dates

  • Women’s History Month. As Women’s History Month comes to an end, we are proud to continue celebrating the many accomplishments of women throughout Canada’s history, and the world at large. Regardless of the month, women’s fight for rights and freedoms is something to be celebrated throughout the year, and now is the time to continue honouring the women around you as we move into November.

  • Academic Integrity Month. Learn the ins and outs of academic integrity this month by participating in workshops, activities and a contest to better your understanding of honest academic work at York. Virtual and in-person events. Contest deadline extended to Friday, November 29.

Campus Sustainability Month

  • BioBlitz. Discover the natural side of York by cataloguing and geotagging its flora and fauna using the innovative iNaturalist app. All participants will have the chance to win a $50 YU-card prize! Keele and Glendon Campus. Event closes Thursday, October 31.

  • York’s Sustainability Race. There’s still time to join the race! End Campus Sustainability Month by completing 30 different digital sustainability challenges across York’s campuses. Keele, Glendon and Markham Campus. Race ends Thursday, October 31.
