Announcement

  • Hey Lions! Taking care of yourself during your studies is the key to your success. There will always be well-being resources and various student services available to you during your time at York. If you are ever in need, don't hesitate to reach out for support.

    • We want to remind you that if you are an undergraduate student who had unexpected non-tuition related expenses during the makeup (remediation) period, there is still time to apply for an undergraduate bursary. The deadline to apply for this bursary is Friday, June 14, 11:59 p.m. EST.
    • Don't forget that there is still time to add courses to your summer (SU) term schedule, running from May to August. Visit the York Courses website to get started. Registration deadline: Tuesday, June 11.

    A big part of the university experience is making connections within the community. You are encouraged to make time to connect with your peers by attending events, getting involved on campus and creating memories. Check out upcoming events below.

Pride Month

  • The Plural of He: Black Queer Archives and Art. Discover the inspiring journey of Black, queer activist, Colin Robinson, through an exhibition and reading from his newly published novel.   • Student Accounts Lifecycle. If you will no longer be enrolled in courses at York, your student computing accounts will go into an expiration process. Download and back up your documents onto your devices.

  • Cross-Campus Capstone Classroom (C4). Take your skills to the next level by tackling a project that focuses on real-world problems and solutions. Learn how you can collaborate with others, make an impact and earn credits towards your degree with C4.

International Student Support

  • Virtual UHIP Drop-in Session. Get your questions about the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) answered and find out how to enrol. Virtual event. Wednesday, June 5, 2 to 4 p.m. Registration not required.

  • Virtual Drop-in Student Advising.  Get guidance and answers to any questions you may have about immigration from an immigration specialist. Virtual event. Thursday, June 6, 9 to 10:30 a.m. Registration not required.

Get Involved

  • Celebrate June Bike Month with Transportation Services and Partners. Discover how to make more sustainable commuting choices, connect with various biking communities and learn more about their services. Participants will have the chance to spin a wheel to win prizes.
