Announcement

  • 2026 National Bank Open. The National Bank Open is taking place at Sobeys Stadium on the Keele Campus until Thursday, August 13. Parking and traffic modifications will be in effect. Here’s what you need to know:  

    • Shoreham Drive Lot will be closed until Friday, August 14.  
    • Shoreham permit holders will be relocated to the Arboretum Lane Parking Garage.   
    • Road restrictions apply on set dates and times, with details available on York’s Parking Services website.   
    • All other York permit holders will keep their access.  
    • Visitor and short-term parking remains available across a range of lots.   

    These changes affect anyone parking or driving on Keele during the two-week window – plan ahead! 

FYI

  • Do you have your YU-card? Summer exams have begun. Make sure you arrive prepared with York’s official student ID – used to verify your identity at examinations and access important library services. Apply online today! 

     

    Computing Account Lifecycle. If you aren't enrolled in courses, your student computing accounts will enter an expiry process. Don’t risk losing content – download any files that you may want to keep onto a personal device.  

     

    Enrolment Issues. If you’re facing roadblocks while enrolling in courses, visit the YU START webpage to get information about troubleshooting. Here are some common issues to help you get started: 

    • Blocked from Accessing REM. There are many reasons you may be blocked from accessing REM; sort through them to get on the right track. 
    • Course Enrolment Transactions. Whether you're adding or dropping a course, switching sections or exchanging a course, find out how to get it done with confidence. 
    • Course Contact Directory. If you received a notification about a course being reserved, restricted or unable to be added without permission, contact the department that offers the class to get more information.

  • Same vibe, different place. Looking to access your student account, grade reports and other self-service tools? The my.yorku web portal is now officially retired, but you can access all the same tools on the My Profile website. 

     

    Apply to be a York University Tribunal Member! Contribute to the lives of students at York for a two-year term, while growing your network, learning new skills and gaining confidence. With the Office of Student Community Relations (OSCR), successful applicants will receive training on a variety of essential topics and will sit on a committee that participates in panels to adjudicate breaches of The Code and more. Review eligibility, responsibilities and expectations, and apply by Wednesday, September 30.

  • 6th Annual Black Excellence at York University (BE YU) Welcome Event: Built for Greatness. Welcome incoming students and reconnect with current Black students in the BE YU community. Celebrate the idea that success comes from discovering, developing and strengthening the qualities you already possess. This event will feature a keynote speaker, a student and alumni panel, great food, raffle prizes and more.
